EHO s.r.o. collected roofing felt waste is recycled into high-quality roofing materials and other bitumen elements. This ensures repurpose of old roofing materials and it’s potential return to the market. Our company is developing technologies and recycling processes on an ongoing basis. This process helps to reduce CO2 emissions and solve the waste handling problem.

The recovered product is added as a bitumen source in the production of new hydro isolation, roofing elements etc. Roofing materials consist of roughly 50 to 55% bitumen and 20 to 30% other additives depending on material type.

Roofing felt contains 55% bitumen. With our technology and Roof to Roof recycling approach we can replace large part of the virgin bitumen in roofing material industry and thus ensuring resource efficiency.

Recycled roof felt waste can offer up to 50% recovered bitumen, which can be added to the new roofing material production. Up to 30% of reused bitumen can be added to the new roof production potentially saving you 250 euros per ton.
